Alabaster Pizzo went to the School of Visual Arts and lives in Queens. She is an obsessive recycler and do-it-yourself-er.

An excerpt of her comic "Mimi and the Wolves, Act II: The Den" appeared in Best American Comics 2015, published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and edited by Bill Kartalopoulos and Jonathan Lethem.

In the spring and summer of 2016 she serialized a weekly comic, "Ralphie and Jeanie," on Vice.com.
